Every end of February/beginning of March, countries across East Asia host a number of competitions that are part of the Asian Tour. This year, our Professional Standard Coaches, Marat Gimaev and Alina Basyuk, traveled to Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul to take a part in the 2013 Asian Tour.
La Classique du Quebec is an annual competition that takes place in Montreal, Canada. It is organized by Meryem Pearson and is one of Canada’s biggest and most important competitions.
This weekend at the La Classique du Quebec, Marat and Alina continued their consistent results by placing 1st in the Professional Ballroom while Pasha and Anastasiya showed why they are one of the best couples in the United States by placing 6th in a very elite final in the Amateur Latin.

This weekend, Brooklyn DanceSport Club will be having 6 of our couples competing at the 2012 World Dance Council Ballroom and Latin World Championships in Paris,
This year 2012 marked The Kings Ball Championships 18th Anniversary. This Championship originated in Brooklyn for the sake of 200 junior competitors to be able to compete close to home so as not to incur the expense of an out of town competition.
