With the 2012/2013 dance season almost done before the start of summer, our Amateur Latin couples competed at the 2013 Millenium DanceSport Championships against some of the world’s best and two of our couples were in this elite final. Pasha and Anastasiya placed a fantastic 4th, while Aleksey and Vlada were able to place 5th in the Amateur Latin Championships. With dancers like Troels Bager and Ina Jeliazkova (2013 Blackpool Dance Festival Amateur Latin Champions) and Anton Belyayev and Antoaneta Popova (6th – Canada – 2013 Canadian Amateur Latin National Champions) competing in the final, these results are a testament to the couples’ relentless work-ethic and the endless hours spent on the practice floor. We wish these couples much luck during this summer’s preparation for the next season.
