Congratulations to Marat Gimaev and Alina Basyuk for Placing Second in the Professional Standard at the 2013 Millennium DanceSport Championships in Tampa, Florida

Fresh off their great result and dancing at the 2013 Blackpool Dance Festival a month ago, Marat and Alina placed a very impressive 2nd in the Professional Standard Championships at the 2013 Millennium DanceSport Championships, finishing only behind 2012 US National Professional Standard Vice-Champions, Victor Fung and Anastasia Muravyeva.  This is one of the last competitions of their very successful season for Marat and Alina.  They were also 9th at the WDC World Championships and finalists of the Asian Tour Championships. Marat and Alina will be taking the summer to prepare for the 2013 USA Professional Standard National Championships in Orlando, Florida.
