The New Jersey DanceSport Classic Summer Sizzler is an annual event presented by Mario Battista and Wendi Davies held at Roger’s Dance Center in Hackensack, New Jersey (formerly the Battista Dance Studio). Congratulations to Denys Drozdyuk and Antonina Skobina for Placing 17th (out of 266) in the Amateur Latin at the 2013 Blackpool Dance Festival
Denys and Antonina keep inching towards the highly coveted semi-final in the Amateur Latin and had another impressive showing, missing the semi-final by only a handful of recalls. They represented America as the 2013 NDCA USA Amateur Latin National Champions and were the best American couple results wise. Denys and Antonina continue to show how great results are achieved only with commitment and effort on the practice floor. We hope Denys and Antonina continue to progress in their dancing together and wish them the best of luck!
Congratulations to Pasha Stepanchuk and Anastasiya Danilova for Having their Best Results at the Blackpool Dance Festival
Pasha and Anastasiya have just recorded their best results historically at a Blackpool Dance Festival by placing 17th (out of 346) in the Rising Star Amateur Latin at the 2013 Blackpool Dance Festival. Representing America as the 2013 USA Dance Amateur Latin National Champions, Pasha and Anastasiya showed how their hard work and dedication on the dance floor translates to their recent amazing results. They also placed an impressive 69th (out of 266) in the Amateur Latin competition, and we wish them a continued, steady improvement.

Competing as the 2013 USA Dance Under-21 Latin National Champions, Evgeny and Gabriella placed an amazing 16th (out of 192) in the Under-21 Latin at the 2013 Blackpool Dance Festival. Evgeny and Gabrielle had the best result of all other America couples and continue to constantly improve their partnership. They also came in 79th (out of 346) in the Rising Star Amateur Latin and with this constant improvement, this couple has a lot ahead of them!

Stanislav and Annie have proven to be one of Brooklyn Dancesport Club’s most successful and consistent Professional couples, placing in the top 3 in nearly every Professional Rising-Star Latin event. This weekend was no different, when Stanislav and Annie became the Professional Rising-Star Latin Champions and placed 3rd in the Professional Latin Championships at the 2013 American Star Ball. With such consistent improvement and results, Stanislav and Annie have really put their names on the map in Professional Latin and we wish them continued success!

This year, BDSC had 2 Amateur Latin National Champions with Denys Drozdyuk and Antonina Skobina becoming the 2013 United States Amateur Latin Champions and Pasha Stepanchuk and Anastasiya Danilova becoming the 2013 USA Dance Amateur Latin Champions. These two couples encompass what hard-work, dedication and perseverance can achieve. Both of these couple was featured on the Front Page of Dance Beat. We are proud of these couples and wish them further success defending their National titles.
