This week’s “Video of the Week” features one of the backbones of modern ballroom dancing, Ruud Vermeij, in the 1983 World Cup Latin Professional Championships.  Brooklyn DanceSport Club will be hosting Ruud this April for a very special dance camp. This is a perfect opportunity to learn from the man who is known as one of the originators of what ballroom dancing is today. Ruud’s theory on dance is unparalleled to anyone else, so you do not want to miss this exclusive event that takes place from April 23rd to the 27th!

With the end of summer quickly approaching, BDSC was able to book Greg Smith, a World-Class Coach and Adjudicator, as our Summer Guest coach to teach at BDSC!


On August 22nd, Greg Smith is going to be teaching private lessons throughout the day and a seminar in the evening (exact time TBD)

Blackpool Amateur Ballroom Champion

World Amateur Ten Dance Champion

World Class Coach and Adjudicator

Greg Smith, a native of Netherlands, will be coming to BDSC to teach a Standard seminar that will feature advanced technique and cutting-edge theory. With the Dance Legends (April 13th and April 14th) quickly approaching, BDSC was able to book two of the premier attractions of the show to teach in our studio!
