Starting Friday, September 14th at 7 PM, BDSC is welcoming back the Friday Adult Social Group. If you or your friends have always wanted to join in on the fun and learn dance, now is the perfect opportunity! Our amazing Director of Social Dancing, Anastasiya Danilova, will be covering all styles of dances, from the cha-cha to the tango to the salsa in a friendly, instructive environment.

As summer vacation is in full swing and the temperatures outside reach 100 degrees, couples continue to come to the dance studio to practice hard and do some really good dancing. With important competitions such as Manhattan DanceSport Championships and the Empire State DanceSport Championships just around the corner, BDSC couples keep dancing through their summer vacation. This week over 20 couples came to to our popular practice rounds !
This is the sort of dedication we at BDSC are truly proud of and the kind of work ethic that inspires everyone. It is not just the older couples practicing hard through this heat, but couples as young as 8 spend many hours taking private lessons, group classes, and most importantly practicing!
This inspirational image of our younger dancers bodes well for the future generation of ballroom dancing. It is not a surprise when some of our couples improve the most the summer! If you would like to come in and join the fun, give us a call or contact us. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Unfortunately, starting Friday June 8th, the Adult Social Group will be cancelled. We are now only offering private lessons for Adults interested in Ballroom dancing. We apologize to all those interested in the group!
Blackpool season is finally upon us, and now is the time to come to Brooklyn DanceSport Club for Latin and Standard Run-Throughs.
The Latin Rounds, overseen by 11-time United States Amateur Latin National Champions, Eugene Katsevman and Maria Manusova, are held every Tuesday at 8:30 PM and Thursday at 8 P.M.
The Standard Rounds, overseen by 5-time Russian Amateur Standard National Champions, Marat Gimaev and Alina Basyuk, are held every Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
Held at BDSC’s beautiful and spacious venue, there is room for everyone and the atmosphere here will make you want to come back for more!
